The RUDAL series was invented by our designer, a simple shape, yet never seen before! That’s usually a sign of good design, no need for extravaganza, but sober shapes with perfect proportions. Made of 9mm thick glass, black but still a bit translucent when there’s a backlight. The base is solid glass, with a honed edge, it’s what gives this series the extra touch of marvellence, luxury feeling.
When we first saw the design, we were amazed that this shape had never been created before. The vases (4 sizes) are of such simplicity, beautifully curved and a well proportioned yet heavy base. The ball shaped vase is just the perfect addition to it. And then the bowl (3 sizes) is again of such gracious beauty, a timeless design that can be put next to any haut-couture without being shy.
These vases are heavy and feel like cut to the millimeter perfection. Really, can’t imagine better value for money!
Is there an Asian touch to it? On some of our pictures they sure seem to match perfectly well with ikebana floral art.
